Pre-Conference Session

This iis designed to be a refresher session to update an individual’s knowledge in current concepts of some chosen aspects of paediatric anaesthesia and critical care. All material will be delivered by known experts in their fields and there is the opportunity engage in the interactive demonstration of the stabilisation of a critically ill child by a regional transport team.

Those attending will:     

  • have their knowledge updated and perhaps realise they are already up to date in some or all areas.
  • increase confidence levels in techniques

This format has been delivered to 15 North West hospitals in 2017/18 by NWTS education team with praise for delivering a degree of fidelity to larger group sessions.
